Soft Mesh Muzzles

The Ancol Mesh Dog Muzzle is one of the most humane ways of protecting other dogs and people around your dog. It’s very sad to have to admit you need to use this muzzle, but for some dogs, it is essential to give you piece of mind. If your dog is very active and runs around off lead then consider the plastic Muzzle. Your dog is probably very comfortable around your home and familiar environments, but when a dog is placed under stressful situations, whatever they may be, his or her temperament may change. Small children who climb on and try to play with your dog is a prime example.

It is not so easy to prosecute you if your dog is deemed to be dangerously out of control in a public place If he or she is wearing a muzzle. As an expert witness under the Dangerous Dogs Act, I am more than aware how easy it is to be prosecuted under this act. Try to do this during normal, unstressed times of the day, your dog will probably not enjoy this at first, but perseverance will ensure an unstressed dog.

Size 0 = less than 10 cm For very small dogs like tiny Miniature Poodles, Miniature Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Yorkies etc

Size 1 = 10cm for Whippet, Jack Russell, Cavalier King Charles, Dachshunds.

Size 2 = 12cm for Border Collies, Beagles, Springer & Cocker Spaniels, Standard Poodles.

Size 3 = 14cm for Labradors and Retrievers, Boxers, GSD.

Size 4 = 18.5cm for Dalmatian, Dobermans, Weimaraner, Setters, Bull Terriers.

Size 5 = 21.5cm for Rottweilers, Bull Mastiffs. St Bernard.
